Welcome to Layal, your dream interpretation companion. Your privacy is important to us, and this Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information while respecting your trust.
1. No Personal Account, No Login
Layal does not require you to create an account or log in. There is no user registration, email, or third-party sign-in. You use Layal completely anonymously.
2. What We Collect (Locally Only)
To generate personalized dream interpretations, Layal may ask for the following details:
- First Name
- Gender
- Birthday
- Marital Status
- Occupation
These are saved locally on your device only — they are never uploaded, shared, or linked to your identity in any way.
You can delete this data anytime with the Reset Everything button in the app settings. This instantly erases all stored information.
3. AI-Powered Dream Interpretation
We use OpenAI API (or in some cases, Google AI) to provide high-quality, poetic dream interpretations. Your dream text and selected metadata (e.g., mood, type, etc.) are sent securely to our AI backend for processing.
✨ None of your data is ever used to identify you or stored beyond the interpretation request.
4. Analytics and Crash Reporting
We use the following services to improve app performance and user experience:
- Firebase Analytics: Tracks general usage patterns (e.g., button taps, screen opens). This helps us improve the app but doesn't track any personal or sensitive data.
- Firebase Crashlytics: Helps detect bugs or crashes. It collects crash logs, device type, and Android version — but no personal information or dream content.
All analytics are aggregated and anonymized.
5. Ads & Monetization
Layal uses:
- Google AdMob for rewarded ads (e.g., earn coins by feeding pets).
- Google Play Billing Library for in-app purchases like Gold Packs or Premium Plans.
These services may use device-level identifiers (like Android Advertising ID) to serve relevant ads or process purchases, as governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
6. Data Security
- All local data is stored using Android's secure local storage.
- All network requests (e.g., to AI APIs) are made over HTTPS.
- We never store or transmit sensitive personal information outside your device.
7. Your Controls
- You can delete all local data with one tap (Reset Everything).
- No cloud sync or backup is used — everything is on your device.
- If you uninstall the app, all data is automatically deleted.
8. Children's Privacy
Layal is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy. You will be notified of any significant changes through an in-app message or store listing.
