Terms and Conditions

These terms explain the boundaries of Sanct’s emotional-support experience, AI features, purchases, and your responsibilities.

Effective and last updated: July 29, 2026

Sanct is not therapy, a medical device, a diagnostic service, or an emergency service. If you or someone else may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a trusted person who can be physically present.

1. Agreement and provider

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Sanct. Sanct is provided by Alperen Öztürk through Ophelin (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using Sanct, you agree to these Terms and the Sanct Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Sanct.

Questions may be sent to support@ophelin.com.

2. What Sanct provides

Sanct offers guided emotional reflection, AI-supported conversations, session summaries, mood and journal tools, progress views, reminders, and optional paid features. Features may change as the app develops.

Sanct supports everyday reflection and self-awareness. It does not provide medical care, psychotherapy, diagnosis, treatment, crisis response, or professional medical, legal, or financial advice. Using Sanct does not create a therapist-patient, doctor-patient, fiduciary, or other professional relationship.

3. AI-generated content

Chat responses and summaries are generated by artificial intelligence. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, inappropriate, or unexpected, and should not be treated as fact or professional advice. You remain responsible for evaluating output and for your choices and actions.

4. Eligibility and acceptable use

You must be at least 13 to use Sanct. If the law where you live requires a higher age or parental permission, you may use Sanct only when that requirement is satisfied.

You agree not to:

5. Your content and app data

You retain any rights you hold in content you submit. You grant us a limited right to process that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and provide the features you request, including processing by the service providers described in the Privacy Policy.

Sanct is local-first. You are responsible for your device, backups, and exported files. Local app history and consumable balances may be permanently lost if you delete data, delete the app, lose the device, or move to another device. We cannot restore local content that was never stored on our servers.

6. Basic access, subscriptions, and consumables

Sanct may offer a Basic plan, auto-renewable Premium subscriptions, and consumable packs for additional chat sessions or analyses. Available products, prices, billing periods, trial eligibility, and included features are shown in the App Store purchase screen and prevail over older descriptions elsewhere.

Except where required by law, purchasing a subscription or consumable does not transfer ownership of Sanct or grant rights beyond the personal, limited access described in these Terms.

7. License and intellectual property

We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Sanct for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms and the applicable App Store rules. Sanct’s software, design, branding, and service content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws.

Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies where incorporated by the App Store: Apple Standard EULA .

8. Availability and changes

Sanct is provided on an “as available” basis. AI providers, network services, App Store services, or device conditions may cause delays, errors, or interruptions. We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device or operating-system version.

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, product development, or service operation. Mandatory consumer rights and access already paid for remain unaffected to the extent required by law.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sanct and its output are provided without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. We do not warrant that AI output is accurate, clinically effective, suitable for a particular purpose, or a substitute for professional care.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of or inability to use Sanct. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including mandatory consumer protections or liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or injury where exclusion is prohibited.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Sanct at any time. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address a material breach, fraud, security threat, abuse, legal requirement, or harm to the service or others. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including intellectual-property, disclaimer, liability, and dispute provisions—remain effective.

11. Governing rules

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the provider in Germany, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of residence. Courts and dispute procedures are determined by applicable law. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms when Sanct, its providers, or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the current version. If a material change requires notice or consent, we will provide it as required by law.
