Products that embody design intelligence—live, in production, serving thousands.

Expressions of intelligence

Ophelin Studio is where our systems become experiences.

Each project is a distinct expression of design intelligence—products that think, adapt, and feel inevitable. We don't create for volume; we create for clarity.

These are not branches—they are dimensions. Each venture shares the same DNA: intelligence with aesthetic restraint.

Desir

Intelligence for intimate connection

TBD Early access
TBD Conversations
TBD Satisfaction

Human-machine emotion layer. Conversational AI for intimacy that adapts to human nuance—private, thoughtful, deeply human.

The Challenge

Intimate AI feels either robotic or inappropriately human. True connection requires emotional intelligence and boundaries.

Intelligence Applied

  • Emotional Nuance

    Understands context, subtext, and unspoken meaning in intimate conversations

  • Privacy Architecture

    End-to-end encryption with zero data retention by default

  • Boundary Intelligence

    Knows when to engage deeply and when to maintain appropriate distance

The Result

Research in progress—intimate AI that feels genuinely human.

Building AI for connection that respects both vulnerability and privacy.

StillMind

Intelligence for contemplation

8k+ Active users
30k+ Meditation sessions
4.9/5 User rating

Calm cognition and mindfulness systems. Guided reflection and meditation—AI that creates space for thought, not noise.

The Challenge

Meditation apps are cluttered with features, notifications, and gamification. Contemplation requires silence and space.

Intelligence Applied

  • Silence as Design

    Minimal prompts, precise timing, strategic pauses—every word is weighted

  • Adaptive Pacing

    Sessions adjust length and intensity based on user state and preference

  • Reflection Memory

    Tracks themes and patterns in user reflections over time

The Result

The only meditation app that doesn't feel like it's trying to sell me something.

AI that understands that sometimes the most intelligent thing to do is to be quiet.

Behind the intelligence

A deep dive into how we solve real design and technical challenges.

StillMind

Teaching AI to be comfortable with silence

When we started building StillMind, we faced a counterintuitive challenge: meditation apps are too chatty. Every competitor filled silence with ambient sounds, notifications, progress tracking, and constant prompts. But meditation is about creating space for thought—not filling it.

The Problem

Early user testing revealed anxiety when the AI went silent. Users felt abandoned, unsure if the app had crashed or if they were "doing it wrong." The silence we designed as a feature was perceived as a bug.

  • Users expected constant guidance and reassurance
  • Silence felt like abandonment, not contemplation
  • Competitive apps had conditioned users to expect noise
  • We needed to teach users that silence is intentional

The Solution

Instead of fighting user expectations, we designed a progressive silence system that teaches users to embrace quiet.

01
Silence Scaffolding

First sessions have more prompts (every 2-3 minutes). As users progress, prompts become rarer (5-10 minutes). Advanced users get 20+ minute silence windows.

02
Intentional Pauses

We signal silence with a subtle breath sound or soft tone—making it clear the pause is designed, not accidental.

03
Timing Intelligence

AI detects when users fidget or lose focus (through interaction patterns) and offers a gentle prompt only when truly needed.

04
Silence as Reward

Progress tracking celebrates longer silence periods as achievements: "You held silence for 8 minutes today."

Silence Detection Logic

// Progressive silence system
const silenceWindow = calculateSilenceWindow({
  sessionCount: user.totalSessions,
  avgFocusDuration: user.metrics.avgFocus,
  fidgetRate: detectFidgeting(user.recentSessions)
});

// Beginner: 2-3 min windows
// Intermediate: 5-10 min windows
// Advanced: 20+ min windows

if (timeSinceLastPrompt > silenceWindow) {
  // Only prompt if user shows signs of disengagement
  if (fidgetRate > threshold && focusScore < 0.6) {
    return gentlePrompt();
  }
}

// Otherwise: embrace the silence
return null;

Users now describe StillMind as "the app that finally shut up and let me think." Silence became our signature feature—the thing users love most is what we deliberately don't do.

Stories from the people who use our tools

Anonymous accounts of how intelligence became useful. These aren't testimonials—they're journal entries.

Eclis

A conversation that helped me recognize my anxiety patterns

I've been to therapy before, but something about Eclis clicked. It wasn't the advice—it was that it remembered. Week 3, it asked, "You mentioned work presentations trigger your anxiety. How did Monday's meeting go?" I hadn't mentioned it again. That's when I realized this wasn't just answering questions—it was paying attention. Over time, I started seeing my own patterns. The 3am spirals. The Sunday dread. The way my body tenses before certain conversations. Eclis didn't tell me what was wrong. It helped me see it myself.

Now when anxiety hits, I can name it. That alone changes everything.
StillMind

The meditation app that finally shut up and let me think

Every meditation app I tried felt like it was performing productivity at me. "Day 47! You're crushing it! Here's a badge!" I don't want gamification. I want quiet. StillMind gets that. The first few sessions, it guided me gently. Then it backed off. By week two, I had 15-minute silence windows. Just me, my breath, and space to think. No achievements. No streaks. No pressure. The app doesn't celebrate me for meditating—it just holds space for me to do it.

I actually look forward to opening it. That's never happened with meditation before.
Layal

It made a decision so I didn't have to

I'm not a designer, but I needed a logo. Every other tool showed me 50 options and asked which I liked best. I don't know! That's why I need help. Layal showed me one option and explained why: "Your brand is technical but approachable. This typeface is geometric (technical) but has soft corners (approachable). The negative space creates breathing room, which signals calm expertise." I understood. I trusted it. I used it. Later, I asked for refinements. It adjusted—but it still led. That confidence is what I needed.

I stopped second-guessing myself. Layal second-guesses for me.

Our Approach

"We don't build products. We design intelligence that becomes product."

Each project starts with a question: What if intelligence felt like this? From there, we architect systems that think, adapt, and express themselves.

Ophelin does not grow by scaling volume—it grows by deepening intelligence. Every venture expands understanding, not noise.

Studio is not a portfolio—it's a laboratory for intelligent expression.
